Conventionally, I am a British Subject, married to a Sri Lankan. But, on a more profound level of thinking, I consider myself to be a Cosmic, born of the Universe, as without fear of contradiction we all are.
In 1980, I experienced an awesome Spiritual Emergence, which both engendered this real back-to-basics idiosyncrasy and psychically endowed me with knowledge that related to the sole purpose of the universe and man's place in it.
My book, a four-part edition now published by The Vigil Trust and on sale in Sri Lanka, entitled ‘On the Square plus One', tries to disseminate this bombshell to a world held firmly hostage to its ethnically fragmented past. The book is written whimsically, however, for reasons of self-preservation, as its radical content cuts across thousands of years of spiritual and philosophical traditionalism. Who would want to believe the words of a latter-day prophet whose only supporters are his inner-self and a jolly bunch of cartoon characters called the Rainbow Men? Never mind, the psychic voice of reason decreed: ‘Brian, you've been given all the clues relating to the nature of the universe and man's place in it. But, remember, there are to be no more martyrs and no more religions. Stay the clown, Brian, we like you that way.' And, who am I to argue? Let me die the clown, but let the message live on to serve posterity.
Retired from a professional life in the construction industry, I now conduct a mission to infuse a personalized common sense cosmogony into the minds of others. And for this reason I maintain a private meeting place, called the Cosmos Coconut Club in the garden of my home in Sri Lanka. There, I can chat over a drink, hard or soft, with those who are or would aspire to be freethinkers... Pay me a visit sometime!
